CURESZ on Campus Clubs and Student Ambassadors
A Fundação CURESZ é apaixonada por oferecer aos alunos as informações de que precisam para trabalhar com seu médico psiquiátrico e emergir da deficiência ou evitá-la completamente. Today we offer students two leadership opportunities: CURESZ Clubs and the opportunity to become Student Ambassadors.
Our first CURESZ club launched in 2020 at the University of Cincinnati, led by CURESZ volunteer and psychology major Lizzie Kozarik. Today, the CURESZ Foundation sponsors on campus clubs at the University of Cincinnati, the University of Toledo, and at Wayne State University in Detroit. We also welcome a network of students from throughout the United States and abroad to join us for our virtual lecture series.
CURESZ Ambassadors are students trained by the CURESZ Foundation to go into the community and spread information about schizophrenia as a treatable brain disorder. We help them develop materials to share and look for speaking opportunities in classes, at hospitals, in community centers, at police stations and at K-12 schools in their area. “CURESZ Ambassadors” is a new program of the CURESZ Foundation launched in 2026. We hope to provide students with information while helping them develop leadership skills. We are currently training our first Ambassadors.
