AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention)

AFSP reminds those struggling with suicide and those who have lost a loved one to suicide that they are not alone. They describe personal experiences from people in your local community whose lives have been impacted by suicide.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)

NAMI offers family to family support groups. NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions.

S&PAA (Schizophrenia and Psychosis Action Alliance)

S&PAA offers free support groups for people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia or related disorders (SA) or families and friends (FFC).

The Treatment Advocacy Center offers information about assisted outpatient treatment, which is court-supervised treatment within the community. The Treatment Advocacy Center also works to restore psychiatric hospital beds and improve civil commitment laws and standards.

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) has multiple programs that serve people who are experiencing severe mental health diagnoses such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder.
