Anthony Vitucci Virtual Memorial Lecture

The CURESZ Foundation welcomes Dr. J. John Mann from Columbia University to present a virtual lecture in memory of Anthony Vitucci titled:

“Evidence-Based Suicide Prevention: A Road Map for Today and Tomorrow.”

Dr. J. John Mann is an international expert on suicide. In addition to his MD degree, and training in Psychiatry and Internal Medicine, he also has a Doctorate in Neurochemistry. His research employs functional brain imaging, neurochemistry and molecular genetics to probe the causes of depression and suicide. Dr. Mann is the Director of the NIMH Conte Center for the Neuroscience of Mental Disorders, and Past President of the International Academy of Suicide Research.
He has published hundreds of scientific articles and has received many honors and awards.

 

Anthony Vitucci was 23-years-old when he passed. He had his first psychotic episode December of 2014. He was an avid soccer player, loved going to the beach and going fishing as well as working out at the gym. He was kind, caring and would help anyone in need. He was funny and always playing jokes on me (his mom). Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and frequently expressed how grateful he was for the devoted and diligent care we provided for him during his illness.

No fee or donation is required to attend. However, a donation of $50 would be appreciated.

Registration for the 2022 lecture will open in July, 2022.

The Vitucci lecture has been accredited for 1.5 CME/CEU credits. CE is available for physicians, psychologists (American Psychological Association), counselors and social workers.
